With Labor Day weekend soon upon us, we are reminded everywhere that another summer is in the books and it is time to look forward to the joys of the fall season. Pumpkin picking. Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin coffee. Pumpkin beer. Other than overdoing it with the pumpkin, fall is good for much much more.

We do a ton of bath and shower remodeling every fall season for a handful of reasons. First, the kids are back in school. Many families wait to have home remodeling projects completed until after the kids are out of the house. Second, after about mid-September, there is a virtual guarantee of cool days and nights. Whether it is flooring, painting or tiling, all remodeling projects seem to go more smoothly for the homeowner when windows are open and cool breezes are moving through the living space. Finally, a good deal of our clients choose to have projects completed in October and early November so as to make the home more presentable or functional in advance of the holiday season. It’s always nice to have a beautiful and functional bathroom or kitchen to show off to the family and friends visiting for the holidays.
