There are several trusted granite top polishes on the market. Follow the directions for a clean, shiny and protected top.

This time of year, you may want to watch for pollen especially on lighter colored granite surfaces. Flowers such as lilies can drop pollen on countertops and their red or yellow pollen may stain if left over time. The likelihood of staining increases with the time of exposure, so as with all stains, wipe up messes as quickly as possible.
